CAPT John F. Wade, Class of 2008, who has been selected for promotion to rear admiral (lower half), will be assigned as commander, Naval Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center, San Diego, CA. Wade is currently serving as chief of staff, Naval Surface Force, US Pacific Fleet, San Diego, CA.
