Maj Gen Darryl L. Roberson has been nominated for appointment to the rank of lieutenant general and for assignment as commander, Third Air Force, US Air Forces in Europe, Ramstein Air Force Base, Germany. Roberson is currently serving as vice director, operations, J-3, Joint Staff, Pentagon, Washington, DC.
