Rear Admiral Fernandez "Frank" Ponds, Class of 2005, will retire from the United States Navy on 1 December 2015 after 33 years of honorable service. Rear Admiral Ponds currently serves as Special Assistant to Commander Naval Surface Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet.
