Air Force Col Michael J. Schmidt has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. Schmidt is currently serving as the program executive officer for intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance and special operations forces, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, OH.
