COL John G. Voorhees, Class of 2012
Colonel John G. Voorhees has been named the Acting Director of the Office of Security at USAID.
John has a distinguished career in the U.S. Army serving within the Military Police Corps. His most recent assignment was serving as the Deputy Commander of the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command in Quantico, VA where he was responsible for its daily operations around the world and leading the command’s strategic planning efforts. He has served overseas in Germany, Korea, and during operational deployments to the Middle East and Afghanistan and has had the unique opportunity to serve under both Canadian and British leadership.
John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Personnel Management and Administration from the United States Military Academy, a Master of Arts degree in Education from the University of Louisville and a Master of Science degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the National War College, National Defense University at Fort McNair, Washington, DC.
